Keep your youth intact with Azzalure

Okay, so there is a new Botulinum Toxin in town! And what if we say that you may even like it better than your regular Botox? Well, that's what you need to test and try at Aesthetics at Silvie. At our clinic, we provide services for both – Botox and Azzalure so that you can choose what's best for you.

So, what's special about this new toxin- Azzalure?

Galderma created the injectable type A botulinum toxin called Azzalure, which is only available by prescription. Azzalure is used to reduce the activity of certain facial muscles; it is used in very small quantities during facial aesthetic operations. This effectively means that Azzalure prevents the treated muscles from moving so that the surrounding skin can relax and smooth out over time, which has the effect of reducing wrinkles.

In addition to the upper third of the face, which includes the areas around the eyes, forehead, and brows, this wrinkle-smoothing procedure can also be used to elevate the corners of the mouth and reduce gummy smiles.

Frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet, or lines that form at the corners of the eyes, are the three treatment sites most frequently mentioned when discussing Azzalure treatments.

And how does it work on your skin?

A neurotoxin designed for cosmetic usage is called Azzalure. Botulinum toxin is a protein that is present in it. It inhibits nerve signals and causes a brief relaxation of the facial muscles when injected into such muscles. This keeps the muscles from creasing or wrinkling, which softens the look of the crow's feet and frown lines.

It's important to remember that Azzalure only works on wrinkles that originate from repeated facial movements like laughing, frowning, or chewing. It doesn't treat sagging skin brought on by gravity's impact or static wrinkles brought on by age-related changes in the skin (reduced collagen synthesis).

This is so that Azzalure can prevent face muscles from contracting after injection. The neurotoxin builds up at the neuromuscular junction (the area between a muscle cell and a nerve cell) and blocks the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter needed to carry nerve messages. Azzalure has the effect of relaxing the muscles and reducing wrinkles in the surrounding skin by inhibiting nerve signals. To preserve the outcomes, the injections must be done on a regular basis because this impact is transient.

What may one anticipate from Azzalure injections? Is there pain?

You should have a clean, makeup-free face when you come in for your Azzalure treatment. Using a sterile needle, your medical aesthetician will clean your skin and administer the injections at specified injection sites in the glabellar and lateral canthal regions. For the majority of patients, the procedure is relatively painless because the injection solution contains an anaesthetic to lessen any discomfort or agony.

How much time does the procedure last?

Azzalure is a rapid and practical treatment that may be used on wrinkles of all severity levels, from mild to severe. It can be finished in 15 to 30 minutes. No downtime or recovery period exists. All regular activities can be resumed right away. As a result, you can schedule an Azzalure treatment for your lunch break.

When will I be able to check Azzalure results?

The effects of Azzalure take two to three days to manifest. The highest effect is evident after roughly 1 month. The outcomes of this procedure are undetectable and appear natural. Since Azzalure's effects typically last three months, the wrinkled look is only temporarily improved. The effects may continue up to six months with regular use. To maintain the benefits, doctors advise repeating the procedure every three months. The precise number of follow-up injections or the length of the treatment interval will depend on how you respond.

5 Best anti-aging treatments of 2022

We all want to age gracefully, as well as have hope to retain and restore our natural beauty with the most up-to-date cosmetic procedures. To regain or retain a youthful appearance, it is simple to take help of amazing anti-aging and preventative therapies available in aesthetic clinics. Aesthetics by Silvie offers a variety of alternatives, whether you want to get rid of bothersome skin, restore your glow, or smooth out wrinkles.

At the Aesthetics by Silvie, we provide a range of cutting-edge anti-aging treatments options to support younger-looking skin and help you resist ageing. We use cutting-edge services and technology to give you unmatched treatments in the market. Check out the top six anti-aging procedures that Aesthetics by Silvie patients have chosen this year.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal filler injections are a non-invasive anti-aging procedure. Dermal fillers fill in lines, smooth wrinkles, and add volume to your face. Your healthcare provider will inject these drugs straight beneath your skin.

People choose dermal fillers to highlight their facial characteristics or to look younger. This elective therapy, which normally lasts around 30 minutes, requires minimum recovery time. Results can be visible right away and last for months or even years, depending on the location and the filler used.

Dermal fillers may be opted for to:

Provides volume to skin that is prone to sagging.

Ensure greater symmetry in the features of your face.

Increased cheeks and lips.

Your face's lines and wrinkles should be smooth.

Microneedling

The collagen supply that is lost throughout the normal ageing process can be increased using microneedling, which is a very successful treatment. This procedure helps firm skin, lessen wrinkles, and improve tone by restoring the radiance, smoothness, firmness, and elasticity that have been lost. At the Aesthetics bu Silvie, we use platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and microneedling to enhance anti-aging effects in as little as one session. It aids in boosting the body's own supply of collagen. Results usually persist for nine to 18 months. Microneedling using PRP can:

Improve the skin's tone and texture.

Give you firmer, more taut skin.

Boost the creation of collagen.

Enhance moisture absorption

Kybella

The only injectable treatment available that has received FDA approval to get rid of the bothersome submental fat which is a cause of double chin is Kybella. Kybella may be a terrific alternative to contour and define your face if the fullness behind your jawline bothers you. This simple, safe technique takes just 20 minutes to complete and aids in dissolving fat cells so they can no longer acquire or store fat.

There will be several little injections underneath the chin throughout each session. After a treatment, you can experience some tenderness, but it normally goes away within a few days. To get results, you probably require more than one therapy. Once you achieve the desired results, your Kybella treatment is over because the benefits are permanent.

Botox

One of the earliest indications of aging, wrinkles used to be the most challenging to remove. You can attain the smooth, wrinkle-free skin you desire with anti-aging procedures like Botox. Two of the most potent wrinkle treatments on the market are Botox and Azzalure. They are also less dangerous and affordable than surgical facelift alternatives. After therapy, results often take days to manifest and last for months. These procedures can also aid in preventing the development of new wrinkles.

Skin Rejuvenation Using Laser

Laser skin rejuvenation makes it possible to regain youthful, luminous skin. This anti-aging procedure aids in reversing the effects of environmental elements, including pollution, a poor diet, UV radiation, and stress that may have led to changes in your skin. All of these may result in skin flaws. In order to remove wrinkles and fine lines and give the skin an overall firmer, smoother appearance, laser skin rejuvenation ablates the skin's damaged outer layers. Even the texture of the skin has been observed to improve.

Neck rejuvenation with Profhilo

 Profhilo: What is this?

Profhilo differs from conventional fillers in that it spreads like honey under the skin rather than adding volume due of the structure of its molecules. The face can be contoured and the lips can be filled with conventional fillers. Hyaluronic acid that is not cross-linked and found in the body makes up all of Profhilo's composition.

Because it may be used to moisturise and heal thin skin on the neck, knees, and arms, Profhilo is also a breakthrough in aesthetics. The technique merely comprises of 5 injection locations and subsequently the product distributes on its own under the skin. The product's smoothness guarantees that there won't be any lumps following injection.

Each injection site stings a little, but the process is manageable. For our 30-year-old patients who are starting to see skin changes, fine lines, and wrinkles, this is the ideal treatment. Using Profhilo in combination with other dermal fillers is a fantastic answer for our elderly patients. This is the thing we have been lacking for the past few years, and the results have been spectacular. This remarkable new addition to our clinic: Aesthetics by Silvie, is an award-winning product.

Skin ageing on the neck

The epidermis, dermis, and subcutis are the three layers that make up the skin.

The dermis contains fibres such as collagen, elastin, and others that sustain the structure of the skin. These components give the skin a smooth, fresh appearance.

Once was just discussed, UV rays harm skin as they reach the dermis. Their influence increases the synthesis of aberrant elastin. This procedure causes wrinkles to get worse. Pollution and unhealthy behaviours like smoking and drinking alcohol also make the skin issue worse.

As a result, as we become older, it becomes crucial to elevate, regenerate, and tighten the skin around the neck. Even more so, as one of the most neglected body parts that unquestionably requires attention is the neck.

Actually, because the skin there is three times thinner than on the face, the décolletage and neck are particularly prone to premature ageing.

Additionally, those regions frequently result in Poikiloderma, which results in coarser skin texture. Elastosis, which is the cause of this rough texture, is brought on by the growth of aberrant elastin fibres. The skin thus tends to look thicker, wrinkled, and drooping. Poikiloderma can also cause women's necks to develop a "turkey neck" appearance as they age.

Can Profhilo aid in neck regrowth?

Yes, Profhilo has special advantages that deeply moisturise, tighten, and elevate the skin on the neck. In reality, Profhilo causes the tissue to undergo a process known as "bio-remodeling," which helps the skin on this sensitive area of the body look younger.

What is in Profhilo?

Briefly put, Profhilo contains only pure, high-grade hyaluronic acid and no artificial fillers.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) binds more than 1,000 times its weight in water and retains moisture. HA now maintains cells well-hydrated and nourished. Hyaluronic acid, along with collagen and elastin, are produced less frequently as we age, which results in a loss of skin plumpness, volume, and hydration.

Last but not least, Profhilo doesn't contain BDDE, thus there's a decreased chance that this method would cause hypersensitive reactions.

What is the neck Profhilo procedure like?

At Aesthetics by Silvie, we inject the PROFHILO formulation into a few strategic locations on the neck. The BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) procedure uses ten injections to maximise the product's diffusion.

What age must I be to have neck profhilo?

It is not necessary to be a certain age to use Profhilo. However, we typically advise it starting at age 30. This means that women over the age of 40 make up the majority of our neck treatment clientele. And because it offers genuine advantages, more men are now at ease receiving this treatment.

Patients who want to revitalise and improve the appearance of their necks might choose Profhilo.

Where in Richmond, England can I get Neck Profhilo?

Our office is located at 8 Second Cross Road in Twickenham, Richmond, TW2 5RF, and we provide various anti-aging therapies in addition to Profhilo neck treatments. To explore this therapy in more detail, please schedule a free consultation. You can also make an online appointment for your procedure.

5 reasons why you need Microneedling to step up your skincare game

The therapeutic advantages of microneedling are well known, and it's popular for triggering the skin's own renewal processes. It is a freshly created technology that increases collagen and elastin synthesis. These skin-building structural proteins are primarily responsible for the firmness and flexibility of the skin. Although this technique requires puncturing your skin with numerous sterilised needles, creating injuries and microscopic wounds, the healing of the skin's natural wounds will aid the treatment of many skin issues.

The finest aspect of this surgery is how quickly it heals and how little downtime it requires in comparison to other forms of treatment.

Over time, the variety of therapy alternatives has progressively grown. Below, the medical and cosmetic staff at Aesthetics by Silvie describe microneedling, one of our go-to procedures, and the five ways it can improve your skin.

What is microneedling, first of all?

An outline of this treatment will be given first. A cosmetic procedure performed in-office is microneedling. Medical aesthetician Silvie first applies a numbing cream to the client's skin to ensure their comfort throughout the process. Then, she uses a derma roller to gently roll over selected parts of your skin. The top layer of your skin receives incredibly minute punctures or wounds from the derma roller. The skin heals over the coming days and weeks, giving you a firmer, younger-looking appearance.

Microneedling accelerates the formation of collagen and elastin

The idea behind microneedling, also known as collagen induction treatment (CIT) or percutaneous collagen induction (PCI), is that by inflicting even a small amount of stress on the skin, the body will respond by starting the healing process. New blood vessels will also develop in addition to the action of collagen and elastin. The skin will be smoothed and plumped by the collagen, and it will be easier for the elastin to make it more elastic so that it won't sag.

It eliminates fine lines and wrinkles.

Microneedling treats a number of issues, including fine lines and wrinkles that give you an older appearance. In addition,

Get a better complexion

Make your pores smaller.

Enhance the appearance of stretch marks or acne scars

Reduce the appearance of sun damage and ageing spots

Although the majority of clients have their faces microneedled, the procedure is also successful on other parts of the body.

There is little downtime and it is minimally invasive.

Microneedling is a minimally invasive process that doesn't involve anaesthesia or the difficulty of taking time away from your hectic schedule, which is one of its major benefits. Depending on the size and number of regions being treated, a treatment session lasts typically less than 30 minutes. You will see effects a few days or weeks following treatment, depending on how fast you heal. To obtain the desired result, customers typically undergo microneedling in three to four sessions. In order to give the skin enough time to heal, sessions are often spaced four to six weeks apart.

Expect skin that looks younger.

Any way you look at it, regaining a more youthful appearance is a victory. Our talented aesthetic staff at Aesthetics by Silvie can use microneedling to help you seem younger, smoother, and firmer.

A less expensive option to laser therapy is microneedling.

Although effective advanced laser skin rejuvenation procedures are also available, some patients may not be ideal candidates or may choose alternate procedures for other causes. For individuals who want results but can't or don't want to access laser treatments, microneedling offers an efficient substitute.

If you've been considering microneedling and want to know if it's suitable for you, schedule a consultation with Aesthetics by Silvie right away.

Azzalure: Anti-Wrinkle Injection

Fine lines and wrinkles develop naturally as our skin ages and lose suppleness and hydration. Smiling, frowning, lip pursing, and basic facial motions throughout the day contribute to them. Of course, there are additional environmental elements to consider, like sun exposure, the foods we eat, whether we smoke and our degree of alcohol consumption.

All of our professionals at Aesthetics at Silvie have undergone extensive training and are fully qualified to provide facial cosmetic procedures such as Azzalure and other dermal fillers. Azzalure is the answer if you're looking for a Botox-like treatment.

Azzalure® is based on the botulinum toxin type A medicine, the same as the well-known and widely popular Botox®.

The medication temporarily relieves particular face muscles, preventing creasing or wrinkled skin.

Botulinum type A has been utilised in medicine for almost 20 years. It is thought to be extremely safe. It has been proven to be useful in decreasing fine wrinkles around the lips caused by smiling.

Azzalure is helpful at reducing small lines, but for deeper set lines, dermal fillers may be required.

What are the ingredients in anti-wrinkle injections?

Botulinum toxin A, a fatal toxin that is available in cosmetic injections in minute amounts, is used to make anti-wrinkle injections. Botulinum toxin injections have now been approved for many medical usage for decades to lessen twitching muscle activity in persons with cerebral palsy, both for ocular spasms and limb spasms. Toxins were recently approved by the FDA (the American Food and Drug Administration) for cosmetic application on the frown lines between the brows.

Is Azzalure Treatment Expensive?

The injection fluid contains an anaesthetic that will numb the area when it is administered, causing you to feel very little pain. Slight reddening and slight swelling are to be expected in the treated area, but these symptoms normally go away after a few hours.

How much time does it take?

So, in addition to being quite painless, it is also extremely speedy. You can finish everything and be on your way in as little as 20 minutes. Because it is so handy, several of our clients even fit in a session during their lunch periods.

When Will I Notice A Change?

The effects are usually obvious within a few days. They are delicate and quite natural appearing, and in some circumstances, they can endure up to 6 months. We recommend that you repeat your treatment every three months for the greatest benefits.

Protecting My Skin After Treatment

It is recommended by our experts that you avoid strenuous exercise and, in general, avoid excessive movement and, if possible, avoid creating particularly strong facial expressions in the early aftermath of the therapy. Also, avoid touching or massaging the treated areas.

Strong sunshine should be avoided, as should temperature extremes, with no hot or cold climates.

How many different kinds of anti-wrinkle injections are there?

There are currently a few of these, with more on the way. To begin, there are poisons that most people are familiar with. Then there's Azzalure (also known as Dysport in non-EU markets) and BoCouture (originally called Xeomin). Are you still with me? Jeveau is a newcomer to keep an eye on.

Is this treatment appropriate for everyone?

No, it doesn't. We will advise you and check your medical history and current health during the appointment, and then we will recommend you Azzalure. Pregnant women should not use this therapy, nor should anyone under the age of 18 or anyone suffering from hypersensitivity.

What are the benefits of anti-wrinkle injections?

Anti-wrinkle injections like Azzalure are mostly used to dampen down the facial expressions that pull the skin into lines, which eventually become fixed into the face. Botulinum toxin injections, however, have various use.

Anti-ageing treatments

Everyone may agree that we aged significantly during the first half of 2020. Stress and worry cause lines and wrinkles and can even harm the quality of the skin. Even if you are unable to eliminate stress in these trying times entirely, there are techniques to lessen signs of ageing without undergoing surgery. Cosmetic injectables and microneedling are two of the most popular anti-ageing treatments at Aesthetics at Silvie.

This year, nonsurgical face rejuvenation therapies are gaining popularity. This is due to increased number of women and men are working from home and spending more time than ever before viewing themselves on video conference calls or socialising via Zoom and other video platforms. In this blog post, I'll discuss 5 of the top anti-ageing therapies expected to grow in popularity in 2020, as well as how they can assist address specific concerns and revitalise your appearance.

Microneedling

Because of its continuously great results, this treatment has maintained its appeal. Celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow popularized micro-needling anti-aging treatment in the skincare industry a few years ago, and our patients recognized it wasn't just another Hollywood fad.

Our clinicians use the Eclipse Pen to generate tiny punctures in the skin that promote the body's natural healing reaction. This results in the rapid formation of new collagen, which is one of the building blocks of smooth, taut skin. To improve the outcomes, the skin's channels efficiently absorb nutritious creams and serums. Micro-needling not only lowers the appearance of lines and wrinkles but also minimizes the look of acne scars and stretch marks.

Peels with Chemicals

Chemical peels of varying strengths remove the skin's dull outer layers to reveal the revitalised skin beneath. Our aesthetic specialists meticulously apply peels to improve the texture of the skin, diminish fine lines, shrink pores, and minimise acne scars with this anti-ageing treatment. A medium peel, such as trichloroacetic acid (TCA), penetrates deeper into the skin and requires more downtime than a milder peel. The main advantages are visible when the skin begins to peel 2 to 3 days following the therapy.

Mild peels – They cure minor skin issues and take less time to recover from. Mild peels are suitable for every skin types, regardless of hue. They are unlikely to develop hyperpigmentation.

Medium-depth peels- They can be used to remove face scars, wrinkles, and even birthmarks; however, they can produce adverse effects and cause healing to take longer than usual.

For complete effects, a large majority of people will notice the results after a single treatment; nevertheless, multiple treatments work effectively.

Deep peels-  are used to treat precancerous growths, wrinkles, deep scars, and severe acne. The deep chemical peel produces apparent results with just one application. However, it can have more severe side effects and is more expensive.

High-Intensity Pulsed Light (IPL)

IPL treatments, like laser skin resurfacing, use pulses of light energy that the skin tissue absorbs, stimulating the body's healing reaction once more. This is an good choice for patients who are concerned about spider veins and age spots on their face, hands, and chest. Even though each patient's experience is unique, most people who have IPL treatments do not require any downtime. We recommend a treatment programme of 4 to 6 treatments every 3 weeks.

Injectable Cosmetics

BOTOX® Cosmetic and injectable dermal fillers continue to be the workhorses of nonsurgical anti-ageing treatments worldwide. They're short treatments, with the injections only taking a few minutes, and they provide fantastic results. BOTOX treats wrinkles caused by the frequent movement of small muscles, such as crow's feet and worry lines. Whereas, fillers replace lost volume in the face as we age. The common treatment locations are nasolabial folds, under the eyes, and the cheeks.

How to treat common skin conditions with aesthetic treatments

 Overview

Numerous skin conditions can be unpleasant and distressing. This blog post will go through the most prevalent skin disorders and how to cure them with the help of aesthetic treatments. Keep in mind that everyone's skin is unique, so what works for one person may not work for another. If you have a skin problem that is giving you discomfort or shame, please seek expert guidance.

What Causes Skin Disorders?

Skin disorders can be caused by a variety of factors, ranging from allergies to heredity. Common skin disorders such as eczema and psoriasis are frequently caused by an overactive immune system, whereas rosacea is frequently caused by inflammation.

Irritating substances like strong chemicals or detergents can also cause skin disorders. Skin conditions can be the result of underlying health issues such as diabetes or hormone imbalances.

Additionally, as a side effect, several drugs might cause skin problems. When the cause of skin disease is identified, it is typically possible to treat it effectively with aesthetic treatments. On the other hand, skin disorders can be chronic and require lifelong therapy in some situations.

Acne

Acne is quite common a skin disorder that can afflict anyone at any age. Hormone level fluctuation is one of the most important elements. Increases in testosterone, for example, during puberty, might result in an increase in sebum production. Sebum is an oily substance that aids in skin moisture retention. However, excessive sebum production can clog pores and trap dead skin cells, allowing bacteria to thrive.

Acne development is also influenced by genetics since persons with acne in their families are more prone to get the condition themselves. Furthermore, several drugs and cosmetics might irritate the skin and cause breakouts.

Aesthetics at Silvie offers a number of acne aesthetic treatment options. Microneedling and chemical peels are two super options.

We also have two at-home skin care treatments available, the Complexion Clearing Program and the Acne Treatment System.

Sunburn

Sunburn is caused by prolonged and excessive exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays. These rays constitute a component of the sunlight that reaches Earth. They are invisible, cannot be seen or felt, and can cause skin damage in as little as 15 minutes. UVA and UVB rays are the two forms of UV radiation. UVA radiation penetrates too deep into the skin and is the major cause of wrinkles and premature ageing. UVB rays damage the skin's outer layer and are the major cause of sunburn.

Using sunscreen is one of the effective strategies to avoid sunburn. Select a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 and liberally apply it to all exposed skin. Wearing protective clothing, such as a helmet, a long-sleeved shirt, and long pants is also recommended. If you are going to be in the sun for an extended period of time, take frequent pauses in the shade and drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic skin disorder characterised by redness, swelling, and lesions on the face. Though the specific cause of rosacea is unknown, various factors may contribute to the condition's development.

We provide several rosacea curing aesthetic treatments at Aesthetics by Silvie. Laser therapy is one of them. Rosacea-specific at-home skin care solutions are available for purchase online or in our clinic.

Pigmentation of the skin

Skin pigmentation occurs when skin cells produce more melanin, the pigment that gives skin its colour. Sun exposure, hormones, and some drugs are all variables that might induce these cells to create more melanin. Although skin pigmentation is generally considered safe, some people may seek aesthetic treatments. Micro-needling can help with it.

What is Profhilo? - All you need to know

We're excited to welcome Profhilo therapy to Aesthetics by Silvie, a breakthrough new skin ageing process that will complement our dermal fillers and wrinkle-relieving injectable procedures.

Profhilo was just recently introduced in the UK, but our philosophy at Aesthetics by Silvie is to only provide patients with clinically established treatments that produce safe and predictable outcomes. We thoroughly reviewed the data, both in terms of safety and efficacy, and are certain that Profhilo provides something unique to our patients who are noticing the initial signs of skin ageing.

The skin's naturally occurring collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid levels decline as we age, leading it to seem dry and dull, with fine lines and wrinkles and loss of skin suppleness appearance.

WHAT EXACTLY IS PROFHILO?

Profhilo works as a skin hydrator, distributing in the top layer of the dermis to give a more luminous and hydrated glow, as opposed to dermal fillers, which effectively volumize the area into which they are injected. Slow HA release stimulates collagen and elastin formation, correcting fine lines and crepiness and improving skin laxity. Profhilo is one of the best skin rejuvenation product that improves moisture, texture, and overall radiance. It also improves a firmer, plumper complexion by increasing the production of elastin and collagen.

Do you want to learn more about Profhilo? Here are our top 5 Profhilo frequently asked questions:

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR PROFHILO?

Profhilo is appropriate for all skin types of men and women who desire to improve skin elasticity and moisture. It is especially beneficial for aesthetic  patients who are experiencing the beginning stages of ageing, as significant skin laxity may necessitate a more invasive therapy.

HOW MUCH PROFHILO TREATMENT WILL I REQUIRE?

This depends on the degree of skin ageing and the results you want to accomplish. Two Profhilo treatments, four weeks apart, will offer the best outcomes for the majority of individuals. Profhilo is mainly also be used on the neck, decolletage, hands, and arms, and you may require more treatments in these regions.

WHAT IS INVOLVED IN A PROFHILO PROCEDURE?

We will numb the treatment region with the local anaesthetic cream, as we do with dermal filler injections, to guarantee a pain-free procedure. The hyaluronic acid is supplied through ten micro-injection sites and promptly disperses in the top layer of the dermis, eliminating the need for massage or the possibility of lump formation.

ARE THERE ANY RISKS IN RECEIVING A PROFHILO TREATMENT?

Patients may have some swelling and bruising at the injection site, however, this is just transient and can be readily concealed with make-up. Profhilo is not suited for pregnant or breastfeeding women and is also not suitable for individuals allergic to HA.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM PROFHILO?

As collagen and elastin are stimulated, you will notice a progressive improvement in skin laxity and the fine lines and wrinkles appearance in the weeks after your Profhilo treatment. Skin moisture will be greatly increased as well.

Profhilo normally produces optimal benefits six weeks after the second treatment, and the lifespan of your results varies, but we found that patients typically require 2-3 treatments and will want a top-up between three and six months.

Two treatments, at  four weeks apart, are recommended for optimum outcomes, with the best benefits seen four weeks following the second treatment. It should stay in your skin for up to 28 days, but it will continue to benefit you as it encourages collagen production. Patients often schedule treatments every six months to a year.

Do you have any other questions regarding this new treatment? To learn more, contact us at Aesthetics at Silvie to schedule a consultation.

Things To Consider Before Going For Dermal Filler

Dermal filler has been and is being used as a quick fix option in the aesthetic business for years to smooth out deep wrinkles, shape the face, and enhance the lips. As with every expanding technique, there is an increase in difficulties and hazards. Before getting Juvederm dermal filler, we look at everything you should know and understand.

What Exactly Is Dermal Filler?

Dermal fillers are classified as either organically sourced or synthetic. The most often used filler nowadays is derived naturally from hyaluronic acid, a chemical created by our bodies. Although the risk of adverse reaction is substantially lower with these fillers, reactions can still occur. Natural fillers produce immediate benefits but only last 3-18 months, depending on the filler used and the individual's bodily response. Because our bodies naturally break down hyaluronic acid, the operation requires maintenance to retain the results.

These semi-permanent fillers constitute synthetic materials and are frequently referred to as 'permanent' fillers. The filler does not dissolve and remains in the face; however, more operations may be required to preserve the outcome because of increasing mobility and skin elasticity over time. Because synthetic fillers do not leave the body, they might cause lumps to grow, and your body may even try to reject the filler. Semi-permanent dermal filler complications are more difficult to treat and last longer.

Some Possible Risks Of Dermal Filler

The most prevalent concerns associated with dermal fillers include migration and lump formation. Whatever drug is injected, the practitioner's technique is crucial. To achieve the optimum aesthetic result, the appropriate amount of filler must be injected at the appropriate level. Excessive filler use can result in unattractive ridges that alter the face features.

Lump formation and shadowing may occur if the filler is administered too superficially. These problems might be frightening for the individual, but the majority of them are treatable. The most dangerous aspect of injectable filler is when it is injected too deeply, and a facial vessel is damaged. This is the most common cause of necrosis, often known as tissue death. Although extremely unusual, it should be considered while thinking about opting for fillers.

Juvederm: The Do's And Don't Do's

So you've decided to go through with dermal fillers; now, you must be aware of the aftercare instructions to be followed in the days and weeks following the treatment. The most significant of these is infection prevention. Infection surrounding the injection site is a danger with every injectable. We suggest:

For the next 24 hours, avoid touching the area and wearing cosmetics.

Food and alcohol should be avoided immediately following lip augmentation.

Drinking plenty of water is essential for reducing swelling, healing, and repairing the skin.

Within 24 hours, no alcohol should be ingested, and strenuous exercise should also be avoided.

A cold compression can be used to treat bruises. You may feel sore and tender following the operation, but contact your practitioner if you continue to feel discomfort or pain.

Juvederm's Outcomes

The outcomes are instantaneous; however, some swelling may be seen one or two days after treatment. This could imply that the aesthetic results will be different by day three. If you are unsatisfied, you may always inject more filler, but it is much more difficult to spread it. Despite the concerns, dermal filler is a popular therapy usually done safely and successfully. Filler can provide excellent results by increasing aesthetic appearance, boosting confidence, shaping the facial structure, fixing defects, and instantaneously removing years.

Cost Of Juvederm

Our dermal fillers at Aesthetics at Silvie are provided at a reasonable range. You can also add another 1ml for £150. To learn more, view our complete clinic price list.

5 Reasons Why Botox Remains a Popular Choice

If you're noticing fine wrinkles in the mirror, you might long for the smoother face of your youth. Wrinkles not only make you look older, but they can also lower your self-esteem.

We understand your cosmetic concerns at Aesthetics at Silvie. Our London facility provides Botox® Cosmetic injections to correct frown lines and crow's feet promptly and expertly.

BOTOX Cosmetic is still a popular and safe option for effectively reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and here's why:

1. BOTOX Is A Reputable And Effective Brand.

Frown lines and crow's feet form due to recurrent muscle movements associated with everyday expressions such as frowning and squinting.

BOTOX relaxes these muscles and softens expressions. It is quite efficient at minimizing the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

According to a survey, men and women who underwent BOTOX treatments said it is a brand they trust and is the best-selling procedure of its kind. It is the first FDA-approved treatment for mild to severe frown lines and crow's feet.

In fact, the efficacy of BOTOX cannot be compared to that of other brands or generics. Men and women pick BOTOX because they trust the brand and know it will deliver the customer's desired results.

2. Treatments Are Quick And Easy.

BOTOX Cosmetic treatments are perfect because each procedure only takes 10-15 minutes, depending on the treatment area. You can easily fit in a brief office visit between errands or over your lunch break.

Treatments also necessitate little downtime. After the surgery, you'll be able to resume your normal routine practically immediately. Just make sure to avoid intense activity and massaging the treated area for a few hours.

3. BOTOX Has A Low Level Of Pain.

Anesthesia is not required for BOTOX Cosmetic injections. Many men and women feel only a little pinching or pulling sensation as our cosmetic professionals inject BOTOX into particular muscles of your face with a very thin needle.

If you are a bit worried about feeling uncomfortable during the operation, we can make you feel more at ease by administering ice or a light numbing lotion.

4. The Process Is Noninvasive And Risk-Free.

The risk of aesthetic operations is one of the most serious worries. BOTOX injections are nonsurgical, noninvasive, and exceedingly safe.

This means you won't have to worry about sedation and anesthesia, pre-and post-surgery preparation and recuperation, or major consequences that are frequently associated with surgical and invasive aesthetic procedures.

In fact, BOTOX is supported by over 15 years of clinical research, and the treatment's safety has been proven in 495 publications published in scientific and medical journals.

One of the reasons that both men and women prefer BOTOX Cosmetic for minimizing frown lines and crow's feet is low risk.

5. You Will Always Receive Natural Outcomes.

Finally, and most significantly, the results of BOTOX are subtle and natural. You'll have fewer creases in your brow and around your eyes, but you'll still appear like the person in the mirror.

Our cosmetic professionals will only inject BOTOX Cosmetic into the facial muscles that contribute to your frown lines or crow's feet, allowing you to maintain your usual facial expressions.

BOTOX results are also predictable. Many people select BOTOX Cosmetic because they know they will always see the smoothness and fewer facial wrinkles. These effects will be noticeable within 24-48 hours and can persist for up to six months.

No one will be able to tell you've had treatments, but they will for sure complement your newfound youthful complexion!

If you're ready to try a tried-and-true treatment for frown lines and wrinkles, call Aesthetics at Silvie to learn more about BOTOX. You can contact us at our mail, phone number or at the clinic itself!

Aesthetic treatment for crow feet reduction

Why Do I Have Crow's Feet?

Wrinkles around the eyes, usually, are known as crow's feet. These are usually one of the earlier, visible indications of ageing, and they grow more noticeable when you smile or squint. Crow's feet are usually prominent in the corners of the eyes and obviously are named such due to their resemblance to bird claws. Even young people might acquire crow's feet because the muscles that surround the eyes are used frequently, and the skin region is particularly sensitive and thin. Because the skin here is so thin, it loses collagen at a faster rate than the rest of the face.

While crow's feet can be an indication that you've laughed and smiled a lot in your life, when you look in the mirror and all you see are wrinkles stretching from your eyes up to your temples, this may not bring much comfort. Don't worry if your crow's feet are bothering you; there is a remedy. Botox can be used to treat wrinkles such as crow's feet, laughter lines, and frown lines.

This is what we tell our patients, at Aesthetics at Silvie, who say things like "I always look tired" or "I look elderly even if I don't feel old." It's a common scenario because it's how we age: the first traces of change appear around the eyes, which is also the place where we express exhaustion. It's our face's thinnest skin and the first to reveal our age.

We no longer have to rely on concealers and foundations to temporarily disguise our lines, hollows, and bags under our eyes because we now have better tools in our toolbox. Botox and aesthetic treatments, such as injectable fillers, are safe, long-lasting, and transformational. Patients have cried when they gaze in the mirror after their first aesthetic treatment, shocked at how quickly a few injections may turn back the clock, revealing a bright-eyed reflection that seems natural but is more rested and youthful.

What's the Deal With Your Tired Eyes?

There are numerous reasons why eyes appear tired, including lack of sleep, dehydration, allergies, and smoking, to name a few. However, inherited causes and advanced age are two of the most common reasons why patients complain about 'raccoon eyes' and crow's feet.

The reason for this is that the skin surrounding the eyes is thinner and more fragile than the rest of the face, making changes that much more noticeable. The tissues and ligaments that support the eyes deteriorate with age, and collagen breaks down. As a result, the eyes sink further into the sockets and appear sunken, while veins beneath the surface become more visible. Because there is less collagen and fat in the area, wrinkles and fine lines grow more quickly and are more noticeable. Years of smiling and squinting (particularly in the summer) increase the problem, as does UV exposure, which weakens the skin and deepens creases.

Also, it is not an unknown fact that visible aging can make and feel you more aged than you really are.

Fillers and Botox for Crow's Feet: How They Work Together?

Even while fillers are excellent at replacing lost volume and replenishing the eye area, we notice the best outcomes when they are coupled with neuromodulators such as Botox. Why? Because neuromodulators do what other aesthetic treatments can't: they temporarily reduce muscle contractions that deepen furrows, wrinkles, and crow's feet and make us look older. They also soften the appearance of lines and wrinkles, making them appear less prominent. Fillers and botox, when administered combined, give comprehensive anti-aging benefits.

Tired of dull skin? Try Microneedling

 What is microneedling treatment?

Microneedling is a mildly invasive technique that uses a device with tiny, shallow needles to generate hundreds of small, controlled puncture wounds on the skin's top layer. (Don't worry; the provider will numb your skin!) The body produces new collagen, elastin, and capillaries in response to these micro-wounds, plumping the skin and breaking up scar tissue. Fine lines and wrinkles, UV damage, hyperpigmentation, sagging skin, and scarring are all goals. Skin texture, firmness, and moisture will all improve after a series of treatments.

What should I expect from the treatment?

Microneedling is simple to incorporate into your schedule because it takes up to an hour to complete. To prepare for treatment, your Aesthetics by Silvie practitioner will cleanse and numb your face. After that, your therapist will apply a serum rich in moisturising elements and antioxidants before puncturing your skin with the skin needling device. The good news is that because all Aesthetics by Silvie practitioners is medical experts, they can go deeper than non-medical providers, so you'll notice a difference!

Your skin may turn red and possibly bleed, but you will feel no pain since you are completely numb. Microneedling feels like a strange combination of a vacuum cleaner and a razor. You may notice increased pressure around your jawline and a tickling feeling around your nose.

Your skin will be treated with post-treatment cream and SPF after the operation. You'll be given a gentle cleanser and the Aesthetics by Silvie treatment, which promotes oxygen flow to skin cells while also reducing redness. For the rest of the day, your skin may be slightly red. For the next 24 hours, avoid exercise, hot baths, and saunas because your skin is healing itself.

What can I expect from my recovery?

Your skin may feel a little tight the next morning, but the redness from the day before will have vanished. The micro-wounds will heal in no time at their own pace! Dryness, scaling, redness, and swelling are common side effects that last for up to 48 hours following treatment. Apply SPF after using the gentle cleanser and Recovery Lotion from the post-procedure package. Makeup can be worn 24 hours following the procedure.

Your skin may feel dry and flaky over the next several days, so keep using the gentle cleanser and Recovery Lotion and your SPF. While your skin heals, stay away from retinols and brightening chemicals. Use a gentle exfoliator to exfoliate dead skin if your skin is peeling.

When can I expect to get results?

Most patients mention that their skin appears radiant, smooth, and nourished 1-2 weeks following treatment. If you want to improve scarring or skin sagging even more, you'll probably require numerous treatments; chat to your Aesthetics by Silvie professional about the best plan for you.

What is platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and how does it interact with microneedling?

You've probably heard of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) being used in microneedling procedures. Patients who want to be aggressive with anti-aging treatments or who have acne scarring will benefit from PRP. Adding PRP to your microneedling treatment results in buttery smooth skin, brighter under the eyes, and eased scarring and softening of small lines and wrinkles.

Within a week of your treatment, you should be able to resume your normal skincare routine.

PRP is made using the patient's own blood, drawn in the office, and centrifuged to separate it. PRP is injected beneath the skin's surface to encourage new collagen formation and aid healing after the numbing cream is administered to your face (especially effective for deeper lines and creases). PRP improves collagen formation and speeds up healing time, according to studies.

Derma filler- What are the Facts and Myths?

Doubts!! More doubts about Derma Filler? So, if your friends and Google leave you with even more questions after you click thousands of links, read accessible content, and come to a conclusion, it's time to call a professional and have all your uncertainties cleared up.

A lot of customers come to Aesthetics by Silvie Clinic with questions that they may have gotten from reading insufficient or incompetent content online, especially when it comes to anti-aging therapies. The majority of these patients are taken aback when they learn the truth. So, you've probably figured out why we chose this topic. The goal is to provide vital facts and information on dermal fillers, a topic that is riddled with myths.

Soft tissue fillers are more commonly referred to as dermal fillers since they can be used not just in the dermis (deep layer of the skin) but also below the fat and just above the bone. Soft Tissue Fillers, Injectable Cosmetic Fillers, and Facial Fillers are some of the titles given to fillers. Hyaluronic Acid Fillers are the most often utilised fillers. Hyaluronic acid is a sugar complex that is created naturally in the human body and is responsible for giving the skin volume. Soft tissue fillers help to preserve volume, re-inflate deflated facial fat compartments, lift the face, restore lost volume, and regulate tissue hydration by gauging water to give you a more supple, smooth appearance.

Are anti-wrinkle injections and fillers the same thing?

Anti-wrinkle injections and soft tissue fillers are two completely separate treatments with two very different effects. Anti-wrinkle injections work by blocking nerve and muscle transmission, which generates wrinkles. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, replace lost volume and provide face structure, contour, and shape. Both treatments are successful, but fillers' extraordinary adaptability is growing their appeal.

Patients are particularly concerned about injectables because they do not want a Frozen image and fear that it would freeze their face and impede natural facial emotions.

The truth is that this frozen appearance is the result of utilising far more anti-wrinkle injections and fillers than is necessary to treat the wanted areas.

To avoid such risks, it's critical to select a trained injector. The end effect will be skin that is both rejuvenated and naturally smooth.

Overuse of anti-wrinkle injections, rather than fillers alone, results in a more frozen appearance. The media has perpetuated numerous illusions about the use of fillers in various areas of the face, particularly the lips. The results can be graceful and natural if done properly by a specialist who understands anatomy and is proficient in his technique.

Many patients are apprehensive about injectable treatments because they assume they would be uncomfortable.

Many people are terrified of needles, but there is nothing to fear when it comes to fillers or anti-wrinkle injections. Many fillers are combined with numbing medications to alleviate the discomfort produced by the small needle. If you desire, you can have a local anesthetic or a nerve block before the treatment. Furthermore, most patients find the operation to be comfortable thanks to the use of cannulas.

How long will the effects be visible?

The type of filler used, the region injected, and the patients' lifestyle and metabolism rate all play a role. Some fillers, which are sturdier and heftier, last for a long time, while others, which are lighter, last for a shorter time. The duration usually varies between 6 and 18 months.

Will there be any swelling or soreness after the treatment? How long will it be?

One of the most significant benefits of filler therapy is that it is a rapid process that takes around half an hour and has minimal downtime. Mild swelling and/or bruising may occur in rare situations, but this usually resolves within a few days. Furthermore, makeup can be used to hide it.

Botox 101: The Secrets To Youthful Skin

Have you heard about Botox? You have, of course! It's a popular treatment for fine lines and wrinkles, but did you know this wonder injection can assist you in other ways? Let's take a close look at how Botox works before I go into all the ways it can change your face (and possibly your life!).

Botox is injected into important parts of the face, usually in areas with a lot of movement, causing fine lines and wrinkles to form over years of use. Botox works by blocking nerve signals from reaching muscles, causing them to relax or "freeze" for several weeks or months.

Let's look at some of the unusual ways Botox can be utilized to give you a youthful, long-lasting appearance!

Wrinkles In The Forefront Of The Head

Frown lines and forehead wrinkles are the most common uses of Botox. Just a few injections on the required areas of your face, and those lines and wrinkles will start to disappear in about a week!

Aesthetics by Silvie is a fantastic spot to get on with your preventative Botox as early as your twenties! Our leading providers at Aesthetics by Silvie recommend that clients receive Botox in three locations on their faces three times a year to stay looking young and rejuvenated. This would undoubtedly be among your top three choices!

Crow's Feet

Crow's feet are something that bothers most of our patients. For many people, they're one of the earliest indicators of age, and some patients want to delay the signs of aging. Thankfully, our good friend Botox is on hand to assist.

These muscles can be relaxed by injecting Botox around the eyes, eliminating fine wrinkles and giving you a more youthful and fresher look that lasts. You'll look 10 (or twenty) years younger in exchange for a bit of your time! It's almost magical!

So, smile away, knowing that nothing stops you and your smile! Shine on!

Botox on Chin

We can experience dimpling and wrinkles in the chin as part of the natural aging process. While having a dimply orange peel texture on your chin isn't medically concerning, it may make you feel self-conscious or give an aged appearance.

With Botox, a toxin that temporarily disables muscle action under the skin, wrinkles of the lower jaw can be reduced.

Nurses inject Botox into an area that you want to keep intact with the treatment.

If you're in good overall health and have realistic expectations for outcomes, you might be a suitable candidate for Botox. The key to being satisfied with the results of any cosmetic operation, including Botox, is to manage expectations.

Botox injections in the chin and lower face are now classified off-label, which isn't regulated or endorsed by the one and only Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Botox Nefertiti Neck Lift

With the Nefertiti Neck Lift, you'll look like the queen you are! This surgery employs Botox to increase jaw definition and eliminate the "tree trunk" appearance in the neck by injecting it along with the jawline and platysma bands. When Botox is injected along the forward jawline, the muscles that pull your face down relax. This minimally invasive surgery can improve your lower face's contour.

With the addition of filler for full neck rejuvenation, you've got the ultimate "power couple" for a smoother, more youthful neck.

People short on time will appreciate how easy it is and how little downtime it requires. The full results take around five days to appear, and they last for 34 months.

5 best anti-aging treatments for your youthful skin

I think you would agree when we say that we all have aged a bit more in the past two years, and the credit goes to the stress and anxiety that the ongoing situation of pandemic and its repercussions have caused, as stress has also proven to degrade the skin's texture and quality. But we know that stress is not under your complete control. Still, we understand that a good skincare regime and access to the best antiaging treatments, including cosmetic injectables and micro-needling at Aesthetic by Silvie, can recover your skin in no time.

Nonsurgical facial anti-aging treatments have been getting more attention in the past few years. This is because both women and men are working remotely from their homes and spending more time observing themselves on video conference calls or socializing via video calling platforms like Zoom, etc.

Here we will discuss 5 top anti-aging treatments that have seen a boom in usage in the past two years.

Microneedling

Because of its continuously great results, this treatment has maintained its appeal. Microneedling was popularized by celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow a few years ago, and our patients recognized it wasn't just another fad in Hollywood.

Our physicians use the Eclipse Pen to generate tiny punctures in the skin, which trigger the body's natural healing reaction. As a consequence, collagen production is increased, resulting in smooth, taut skin. The skin's channels efficiently absorb nutritious creams and serums to improve the outcomes. Microneedling lowers the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks and decreases lines and wrinkles.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP)

PRP therapy involves injecting a total concentration of the patient's platelets to speed the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints by injecting a total concentration of the patient's platelets. PRP injections work by utilizing each patient's healing system to alleviate musculoskeletal issues.

For PRP injections, one or several tubes of your blood are centrifuged to concentrate the platelets. This causes growth factors to be released, which stimulate and increase the number of reparative cells produced by your body. Your body's wounded or sick tissue is then injected with activated platelets.

Chemicals Peels

Peels improve the texture of the face, diminish fine wrinkles, shrink pores, and minimize acne scars when applied by our cosmetic specialists. Chemical peels of varying strengths remove the skin's soft outer layers to reveal the revitalized skin beneath. A medium peel, such as one containing trichloroacetic acid (TCA), penetrates the skin deeper and requires more downtime than a milder peel. The skin peels about 2 to 3 days following the treatment, revealing significant results.

Pulsed Intense Light (IPL)

IPL treatments, like laser skin resurfacing, use pulses of light energy that the skin tissue absorbs, stimulating the body's healing reaction once more. This procedure may be considered by patients who have spider veins and age spots on their faces, hands, and chests. Although each patient's experience is unique, most people who receive IPL treatments do not require any downtime. Treatment plans are recommended every 3 weeks.

Injectable cosmetics

Injectable dermal fillers and BOTOX® Cosmetic are still the workhorses of nonsurgical antiaging therapies in the United States. They're short treatments, with the injections requiring only a few minutes, and they provide fantastic results. BOTOX is an antiaging treatment to treat wrinkles caused by the frequent contraction of small muscles, such as crow's feet and worry lines. On the other hand, fillers replenish lost volume in areas of the face as we age. Standard treatment regions are the nasolabial folds, under the eyes, and cheekbones.

Combining anti-aging treatments can improve results and address various issues in a single process. You can learn more about the best for you by contacting us using the online form to request a consultation or call Aesthetics by Silvie.

The ultimate answer to your antiaging treatment questions- Hyaluronic acid

When we talk about the urge to seek an anti-aging treatments, we often think about that dewy, hydrated, and bouncy skin. Look no further because we may have, in this blog, found the answer to all of those questions spewing in your mind. Hyaluronic acid is the magic ingredient that can give you that plump, powerful, and perfect skin. This is because most hyaluronic acid molecules tend to be too large to penetrate deep inside the surface of our skin and sit topically while it binds up to 1,000 times its weight in water, ensuring that the skin is kept moist at all times.

Hyaluronic acid, however, depletes as we age. Hyaluronic acid is well-known for its moisturizing effects as a skincare component and anti-aging treatments. It's commonly referred to as the "holy grail" of humectants because it draws moisture into the skin for a firmer, more supple appearance.

But the benefits of this wonderful ingredient do not end here, as we have listed here 4 reasons why Hyaluronic acid is the answer to most of your questions regarding maintaining the youthful look of the skin:

Plumper and polished skin and lips:

As we age, our skin's cell turnover rate slows, resulting in decreasing quantities of hyaluronic acid in our skin. Sagging, fine wrinkles, and a general lack of suppleness in the skin are all symptoms of low hyaluronic acid levels. So, hyaluronic acid helps your skin by binding with the water in the skin's surroundings and makes your skin appear plumper and much more hydrated in the looks and feels as soon as you apply it topically on your face. The results are instantly visible with this unique anti-aging treatments.

Visibly reduces the fine lines of the face.

When hyaluronic acid is applied, it draws in water to temporarily fill up fine wrinkles; however, do not neglect the eye area. Your skin thins out as you age, and your eyelids already have some of the thinnest skin on your body. Most individuals are apprehensive about using skincare products around their eyes, but if you can bear it, it's a good idea to do so to avoid a crepe appearance.

If you're going to use hyaluronic acid in your skincare routine, you might as well go all out. Silvie's Aesthetics is all about applying clever skincare formulas with many components. In fact, products containing both hyaluronic acid and antioxidants like vitamin C, which we know can help your skin, are good for your skin's health.

Provides you with an even textured skin

Anyone who has tried to apply the lip colour to chapped lips knows how difficult it is. Because of hyaluronic acid's capacity to hold moisture, it instantly smooths the skin's surface, making concealer, foundation, and even lipstick apply more smoothly. In addition to a specific hyaluronic acid-containing serum or moisturising cream, it's thought to be a fantastic ingredient to seek for in day-to-day makeup or sunscreen application itself or a makeup primer for the same reason.

Helps with the effectiveness of your moisturiser

Because hyaluronic acid draws moisture, putting a serum containing it under a dedicated moisturiser gives the component something to cling to. It has a double-smoothing action that seals in moisture.

This not only moisturises but also aids in the treatment of acne.

Hyaluronic acid is undeniably a master moisturiser. However, there is a persistent misconception that adding moisture to acne-prone skin may exacerbate breakouts. People overlook how much dry skin contributes to acne, and this is where hyaluronic acid comes in handy.

What's special about Azzalure?

The aesthetic treatment market is gushing about this new anti-aging product- Azzalure. This product seems to be the new competitor of BOTOX. Have you heard about it? It's celebrities' favourite in the UK, and we are sure that you will fall in love with it too.

There are several anti-wrinkle formulations on the aesthetic market, but the most common of them all contain Botulinum Toxin Type A. People who prefer anti-wrinkle injections as their go-to anti-aging treatment are likely to have had Botox, Bocouture, or Azzalure used for treatment.

Until recently, Azzalure was marketed under the name Dysport and was only approved to treat medical disorders like cerebral palsy, facial tics, and strokes. However, it is now approved for cosmetic usage.

Both medications contain botulinum toxin, a protein generated by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. Botulism, a rare ailment commonly associated with food poisoning, can be caused by excessive quantities of protein.

It merely stops a substance that signals the muscles to contract in modest dosages injected into the face. The wrinkles generated by these expressions are efficiently smoothed out by keeping the face from frowning.

At Aesthetic by Silvie, we use Azzalure to diminish muscle action that diminishes your wrinkles and gives you the appearance of youthful skin. Azzalure is also effective for treating facial wrinkles such as crow's feet, frowns, and forehead lines. Azzalure is also effective in the treatment of excessive sweating and migraines.

Azzalure has the advantage of being much less expensive than Botox. Botox, on the other hand, costs between £4 and £6 per unit in clinics. A patient may require up to 30 units in each location, depending on the severity of the wrinkles.

Generally – anti-wrinkle injections are used to mitigate the effects of facial expressions that cause wrinkles, which become permanently set into the face over time. Injections of botulinum toxins, however, have other uses. You can use them to reduce sweating in the hands and armpits by reducing the strength of the masseter muscle in the jaw, ease bruxism or tooth-grinding, or improve the appearance of a gummy smile by relaxing the muscle pulling the upper lip upward.

Azzalure typically takes 24 to 48 hours to begin to take effect; the effects are then noticed after about two weeks when the full effects will be seen. The amount of time it takes to see results will be influenced by a variety of factors, including your age and facial muscle strength. You may schedule a follow-up appointment after two weeks, if necessary, to make minor adjustments to your treatment plan.

Talking about the differences between BOTOX and Azzalure- Botox has a larger molecular structure and does not disperse as far as Azzalure in the tissue. This means that an injection around the eye, for example, is significantly more accurate because the poison is less likely to migrate away from the injection site, generating a droopy eyelid or eyebrow. Despite the little variations, patients have the right to information and thus, should be informed about what is being injected into their faces.

If they are under the notion that they are receiving Botox, they should be informed that this is not the situation. It's also crucial to note that whatever product you have, the practitioner should be skilled, and prefer a provider who is a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors, and avoid beauty centers and fitness clubs for treatments.'

Azzalure's cosmetic use was approved by the Department of Health earlier this year.
